Where to take an eligible date this April
Looking for some fun and fabulous places to take a date this month? Well check out some of our top fail-safe suggestions.
1. The Ivy Chelsea Garden
It's notoriously hard to get a table so book up well in advance in order to get one at a decent time, but this place is sure to impress. Not only is the garden an absolute show-stopper but everything is served and presented so beautifully it makes you feel like you're in some far away land when you're there. Plus, the people watching is great fun too so if you and your date run out of things to say at least you can entertain yourselves!
2. The Lucky Pig, Fulham
For a long time a haunt in Fitzrovia and now the Lucky Pig has now opened its doors in Fulham. Attracting a very similar crowd to it's sister venue this is undoubtedly the cool kid in town. It's a great idea to head there for a quick drink before dinner as the surroundings are relaxed but the cocktails are serious.
3. Koji, Fulham
If you fancy a great sushi without the extortionate prices of Nobu or similar, then we definitely recommend taking your date to Koji in Parsons Green.Yes it's still fairly pricey and the dishes small but the atmosphere is always vibrant and the food is delicious.
4. Fera, Claridges
If you fancy something a bit more central and with a bit of a wow factor then it's definitely worth trying Fera at Claridges. This impeccable restaurant only uses ingredients when they are in season so the menu is ever changing and the food really is an experience.
5. Ham Yard Hotel
The latest addition to the Firmdale Hotels' group The Ham Yard Hotel is a welcome oasis in the heart of London. If you're ever stuck for a great place to take a date when you're in central/soho then absolutely head over to The Ham Yard as it's one of the few places you're guaranteed to be able to have a conversation in amidst the hustle and bust.
